Hortons Rebel Jet was trained by Lynette Broadaway. He was kicked through a tin shed when he was a 2 year old and the injury haunted him through out his futurity year but he managed to make some short go's anyway. He then stood at stud at Sandy Ridge Stallion Station for a couple years. When we purchased him we went back to riding him and he was a real nice horse on the ranch working cattle and was consistent runner on the pattern. His mother was an outstanding race horse and his sire is a leading Canadian sire of barrel horses. Hortons Rebel Jet sires very pretty offspring with alot of substance and bone there is a couple out there running well and more to come in the future.
MR HORTON
A sire of many CFR qualifiers and a NFR qualifier, MR. HORTON was only 14.3hh but had a huge heart. MR. HORTON, has truly become one of the biggest in Alberta for racing horses, and more dominately barrel horses. MR. HORTON was the sire of 5AAA colts, also had prodegy that were succesful in halter and performance events. In 1988 at the CFR, 3 out of the 4 top horses were his offspring or grandoffspring.
WAUSAU
WAUSAU had a SI of 109 and placed top 3 in 32 out of 37 starts. WAUSAU earned $58,134 on the race track. She has offspring that have reached a SI of 101. WAUSAU is a proven producer. of race and barrel horses.
